What used Toyota Avensis saloon will I get for my budget? Prices for high-mileage 1.6-litre diesel cars start at around £9000, but you can find others that have covered a more reasonable distance
Toyota Avensis Saloon (2011 - ) review. Read the Toyota Avensis saloon (2009 - ) car review by Auto Trader's motoring experts, covering price, specification, running costs, practicality, safety and how it drives. Expert review 9 years ago The car itself looked and drove well for a few months and then the problems started. Losing power randomly with no warning lights appearing. Using 1 litre of engine oil per every 1,000 miles. Then towards the end of me owning the car using 1 litre every 100 miles. Got so fed up with the car and the dealer I bought it from I sold it back to them Each battery has a three- or four-digit code such as 075 or 096T. This code indicates the size, power rating and terminal positions of the battery, amongst other things, and helps you find the Toyota says the Avensis 1.6 will consume 4.2 litres/100km on the 17-inch wheels that feature as standard on mid-level Luna specification and we see no reason why that can't be easily achieved without a great deal of effort. The Avensis rides well and through bends exhibits a good degree of body control. The Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-4D 180 is a saloon (sedan) with 4 doors and a front mounted powerplant which supplies its power through the front wheels. Its 4 cylinder, double overhead camshaft turbocharged engine has 4 valves per cylinder and a displacement of 2.2 litres. This unit produces power and torque figures of 178 bhp (180 PS/133 kW) at 3600
The Auris is Toyota’s family hatchback – the second biggest car market in the UK, in which Toyota holds a 5% share – while the Avensis is the marque’s flagship saloon. Also, on purchase, second hand, my fathers Avensis came with 215-50 R17's on the front and 215-55 R17's on the back. Its still this way. It would seem that 215-55 R17's are a fairly oddball size. Tyre shops are possibly just fitting the closest size they stock.

This is an owner's review of a 2015 Avensis saloon. The car was chosen as a change from buying German cars, its my first Toyota. The Avensis's best qualities are low purchase price, reliability (zero issues) and low running cost. Long distance comfort is also pretty good due to two correctly positioned arm rests, a left foot rest, good steering
