But I mean in real life does all these trucks in ets2 are meant to be driven in auto transm. since none of them have shifter or any indication of manual transm.? #4.
TexasWhirlwind wrote: ↑ 11 Jun 2019 21:32 This statement is wrong. With in game cruise, you get the truck up to the speed you want, hit cruise and it keeps you at that speed till you need to slow down or stop again. once you have stopped or slowed down you have to go through the process again, increase speed to what you want, hit cruise.
Floating gears also is not recognized by the game since it does not see a gear change until the clutch is pressed. The one good thing about it not seeing a gear change until you hit the clutch is that it gives you the ability to pre-select your range. #7. michaelfase Jan 13, 2014 @ 12:22pm. Far as I know that is the only difference. I too like to just drive and relax a lot of the time, and tend to use Real automatic. I figured out the other day that doing this frees up two more buttons on my G27. I now have Parking Brake mapped to me shifting left and up. Doing it once turns the brake on, and a second time toggles it off.

How to change from manual to automatic in Euro Truck Simulator 2? Originally posted by Sandhill: In game, the clutch is not involved, unlike in the video. You must Escape to the "home" screen, go to Options/Controls, and , near the top, select Real Automatic from the Transmission dropdown, then rejoin the game. Same process to return to H-Shifter.
